The Souk

There’s place that’s made like a quaint fort or castle from the bygone era, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, with a moat all around it. Is a mall with adjoining hotel.

Loved how the light streams in between the doors...

 

And you can see the Burj ul Arab from there too!

 

As you can see here the structure looks like an old castle. The little boat is the traditional abra.

 

... With old lamps like this! And umm, as you can see I tried to age this one a bit!
